Hello Let us introduce our selves. We are Tim and Diane Mellor we have been married since 1984 and We moved up to Scotland in 1997 from Yorkshire with our 3 daughters. We moved to Mull in 2001 and built our self catering business from scratch. Starting in 2004 with the planning process, and finally built cabin 1 in 2006 followed by cabin 2, camping cabin and the pod in 2017 with the Ark being delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, finally finished June 2022. We have added a barrel sauna heated by logs for hire with cabin 1 or 2 and cabin 1 now has sole use of a jacuzzi Hot tub on the decking .
We also started a take away food van to fill a gap (excuse the pun) in the market as we thought Salen needed one and started this in 2019. The Taste of Mull Food van has gone from strength to strength Despite covid-19 restrictions in 20-21. and will be open again this year April-October 2023.
We love living on Mull and feel very lucky to have had the pleasure of this Fantastic Island and all the beautiful things that Mull has to offer. We have been in the tourist trade since 1997 when we moved to the west coast of Scotland to help run a Holiday park, before moving over to Mull to live out our dream of running our own self catering log cabins business.
Isle of Mull is a thriving island with a variety of young and old living here. Including 4 of our 6 Grandchildren.
