Mull Eagle Watch for 2016.

Here on the Isle of Mull we have two Places for you to go on a Mull Eagle Watch guided tour, to see the wonderful white tailed sea eagle. With your expert guide on hand to answer all of your questions. Although you can see the wonderful sea eagle in the skies above Mull most of the time, With a wing span of an adult of over 2 meters they are hard to miss,   But it is a good experience to go and see the birds on the nest with chicks and fledglings.

Mull Eagle Watch Guided tours start in April to September and last for about 2 hours but can be requested at other times of the year. At a cost of £8 per adult and under 16s are £4 or a family of 4 for £20 you get a lot of information about the eagles and to see them on the nest or around about. In April the adults are normally sat on the eggs and in May hopefully they hatch,  the chicks will be in the nest till around July,in August they should fledge but will stay around the nest for a while.

The two Mull Eagle Watch sites for this year are North West Mull Community Woodlands and South West Mull and Iona Development Tiroran Community Forest. Trips can be booked via the web site www.mulleaglewatch.com

Mull had the white tailed sea eagle reintroduced in 1985 and in that time they have done better than was expected, and Mull eagle watch started in 2000 and has gone from strength to strength.
